In 2014, SaskEnergy launched the Share the Warmth Grant Program, inspired by over a decade of collecting warm clothing for families in need (1994 – 2004). To date, SaskEnergy has awarded over $100,000 to not-for-profit and charitable organizations throughout the province that assist families and individuals in need during the cold winter months.

Organizations chosen to receive Share the Warmth Grants complete their own project day(s) to assist vulnerable individuals in handling the challenges that Saskatchewan winters bring. These Share the Warmth days are uniquely designed to meet the needs of each organization, but usually feature necessities like warm bedding, warm clothing and/or hot meals.

In 2017, we offered twenty - $1000 Share the Warmth Grants for 20 organizations across Saskatchewan and two - $2500 Share the Warmth Grants for the 2 most outstanding applications.

The 2017 Grants were awarded to the twenty-two worthy recipient organizations at the end of September.

If your organization is interested in applying for a 2018-19 Share the Warmth Grant, stay tuned for more information coming to the website in Spring of 2018.
