The Home Energy Legacy Program returns with new furnaces for deserving homeowners

SaskEnergy and Habitat for Humanity have teamed up for the 2016 SaskEnergy Home Energy Legacy Program (HELP). Starting today, three low-income Saskatoon families, selected by Habitat for Humanity, will receive energy efficient upgrades and improvements to their homes – retrofits they would not otherwise be able to afford. Ground shifting impacts SaskEnergy’s ability to provide safe, long-term service in two areas After extensive monitoring, engineering and geotechnical analysis, SaskEnergy has determined it can no longer safely serve a small number of residential properties within two southern Saskatchewan resort communities due to ongoing ground movement.
